British Beats

I usually opt for more urban and eclectic routes in my wardrobe, but even I can't resist the youthful plunge that Burberry has taken with its' iconic British brand. While personally the poses and model choices are a little awkward, the jackets crisp and ruffle in such an indulged manner. The bulky bags burst out in unison with the clothes that have a metalic shimmer to them. It's refreshing to see the youthful adaptation to the classic Burberry style, giving the jackets relevance to trendy Londoner's. As a result I'll very much be looking forward to the A/W runway presentation at Fashion Week next month.

  1. As a huge Burberry fan, all I can say is: gorgeous ads!
I just can't help feeling a little jealous of Alex Watson, who not only has a stunning and famous sister, but now gets to be in the Burberry ads with her as well! And he's only 16!

  2. I think I need an injection of new crisp jackets this year, and it seems from all the positive responses that Burberry will be my basis!

  3. Im sorry but...I hate the choice of models..SO much. I really agree when you say the poses are awkward and I actually think they make it look kinda high street?!!! maybe im just being snobby? hmm...

  4. you know who emma watson reminds me of connie, so dont feel snobby, as it does indeed taint the clothes as a little 'unfortunate'...! and as for the guy from 'one night only'...well he just looks asexual and uncomfortable, and not in an editorial way! shame, because I do like the jackets in general
